Description: Ministry groups are formed around a certain area of ministry, service  or mission.  They form their own leadership team, and find its operation in fulfilling the purposes of the church.   Open ended groups that operate year round

 

Focus: Individual care; community building; mission; possibly study, worship or prayer ministry; evangelism

 

Membership profile:  Church committees can become ministry groups by reorienting their typical ministry focus to include discipleship community building for member-equipping purposes.  Small groups can form or reform for the purpose of evangelism or mission. This group is for the those who have a burden to make a difference for Christ in the world.
